Some common symptoms of anxiety:

  • Trembling, twitching, or shaking
  • Fatigue
  • Sleep problems such as interrupted, unsatisfying sleep
  • Muscle tension, aches or soreness
  • Lightheadedness or dizziness
  • Sweating or cold, clammy hands
  • Excessive startle reflex
  • Breathlessness or rapid heartbeat
  • Restlessness, irritability, or feeling on edge or keyed up
  • Excessive worrying. Obsessive thoughts or compulsive behaviors.
  • Excessive fear of specific things or situations
  • Fearing that something bad is going to happen
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Feelings of panic
